Cayucos July 4 Independence Day Festivities: Fourth of July is a fabulous day in Cayucos. The sand sculptures are created by children, novices, and professionals. (Maybe you would like to build one?) They are truly works of art. The hometown parade is a delight to all. Make sure you come early to find parking and your observation spot. And the fireworks display being shot off the pier? Well, come see for yourself. Find that special spot on the beach and enjoy the show. Cayucos rocks on the Fourth of July!

Fourth Of July Celebration Barbecue At Halter Ranch: Celebrate the Fourth at Halter Ranch! Dean Brothers’ Smokehouse will be firing up a delicious BBQ menu and Negranti Creamery will be serving frosty treats from their scoop truck. There will be dancing and Shawn Clarke Family Band will be playing live music. There is also going to be a vintage photo booth. Your ticket price includes a BBQ meal, ice cream and a glass of wine, and there will be additional wine available for 30% off. Fourth of July Parade of Boats: Head on over to Avila Beach for the annual 4th of July Parade of Boats! at 11:30 AM the Boats will all meet at the end of Poly Pier, and the parade will begin at noon! Vina Robles Red, White & Blue Bash: Enjoy an afternoon of barbecuing and dancing during Vina Robles’ Red, White & Blues Bash! Rattlesnake Avoidance Training For Dogs: With the summer sun bringing out the rattlesnakes, this class will train your dog to recognize rattlesnakes and avoid them, which can also help keep you and your family safe. Home Wine Making Class: A local group called The Central Coast Home Vintners’ Association is putting on a free 3-hour class on how to make wine at home.
